One of the children of John and Alice (Berry) weaver whose births are not yet (1928) found among the damaged records of Newport where he was probably born about 1723, and where it is likely he lived up to the setting off of the northern section of the town as Middletown.

He married, around 1744, Mary, whose family name is not learned. They were both living in Willington, Conn., Feb. 19, 1791. Nothing has been ascertained of them after this (1928).

If he made a will it might show that he had daughters, but no will has been found and we have the names only of the four sons.
