The first secretary for high school boys ever employed by the YMCA in Washington, D.C. From there he went to St.Paul to be the cities sec. for boy’s work, and next to South America as boys sec. for the Association for that continent. After that he did the Western region and lastly served the general secretaryship of the St. Paul Association until his death.
In the heart of the fertile great plains, where on Lake Okoboji in the Iowa prairies not frar from Paulsons birthplace, The Leonard Paulson Memorial Lodge forms the heart and center of Camp Foster. Hundreds of boys come here each summer.At some time, or maybe for years, lived in Newell, Iowa
