His first son, John, had a grandson, John Wever, who was High Sheriff of Radnorshire in 1588. The third son, Hugh, had a grandson, Robert Weaver, who was a Member of Parliament 1620-1640. The History of Radnorshire states that they were ‘kinsmen’ which is true, as they were second cousins.
